Depuis des d\u00e9cennies, il ne se passe pas une ann\u00e9e sans que les syndicats et l&rsquo;administration f\u00e9d\u00e9rale reviennent \u00e0 la charge avec leurs revendications d&rsquo;\u00e9galit\u00e9 salariale entre les sexes. En m\u00eame temps, il est chaque ann\u00e9e \u00e9vident que l&rsquo;\u00e9conomie ouverte de la Suisse se caract\u00e9rise par un niveau de salaires tr\u00e8s \u00e9lev\u00e9 en comparaison internationale, sans qu&rsquo;aucune l\u00e9gislation n&rsquo;en soit \u00e0 l&rsquo;origine. Cela ne soutient pas l&rsquo;hypoth\u00e8se d&rsquo;un march\u00e9 du travail o\u00f9 pourraient pr\u00e9valoir des discriminations irrationnelles.<\/p>\n<p>Et si les femmes acceptaient r\u00e9ellement des salaires inf\u00e9rieurs aux hommes pour le m\u00eame travail, d&rsquo;habiles entrepreneuses ou entrepreneurs n&#8217;embaucheraient-ils pas depuis longtemps uniquement des femmes pour obtenir un avantage concurrentiel\u00a0? Or un tel calcul, dans une \u00e9conomie comp\u00e9titive, est tout simplement impossible, car il serait pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment copi\u00e9 imm\u00e9diatement par d&rsquo;autres concurrents. Dans les \u00e9conomies bas\u00e9es sur la libert\u00e9 contractuelle, les sc\u00e9narios id\u00e9ologiques de r\u00e9pression ou d&rsquo;exploitation v\u00e9hicul\u00e9s par les syndicats n&rsquo;obtiennent pratiquement aucune chance de pouvoir se r\u00e9aliser. On y observe plut\u00f4t une sym\u00e9trie d&rsquo;int\u00e9r\u00eats entre employeurs et employ\u00e9s \u00e0 la source m\u00eame de la cr\u00e9ation de valeur et de la progression constante des niveaux de vie. Se pose donc la question dans quelle mesure la m\u00e9fiance entretenue envers des employeurs pr\u00e9tendument discriminants peut \u00eatre attribu\u00e9e \u00e0 des raisons objectives ou du moins objectivables.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;analyse qui suit examine de fa\u00e7on sobre et factuelle le fonctionnement d&rsquo;un march\u00e9 libre du travail, la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 de la structure des salaires en Suisse et, \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide des connaissances scientifiques les plus r\u00e9centes, la probabilit\u00e9 d&rsquo;une discrimination salariale syst\u00e9matique.
