Connu notamment pour sa d\u00e9fense passionn\u00e9e de la libert\u00e9 d’expression, John Stuart Mill est un intellectuel important du lib\u00e9ralisme. Dans le livre qu’elle lui consacre (\u00abJohn Stuart Mill, lib\u00e9ral utopique\u00bb), Camille Dejardin montre \u00e0 quel point le penseur anglais reste d’actualit\u00e9. Durant la conf\u00e9rence, il sera principalement question de la position du philosophe, logicien et \u00e9conomiste au sujet de la libert\u00e9 d’expression. Camille Dejardin pr\u00e9sentera la pens\u00e9e de Mill sur ce sujet, en son temps, puis ouvrira des perspectives en montrant les similitudes, apports, mais aussi diff\u00e9rences ou points de friction dans nos d\u00e9mocraties contemporaines.\n<\/p>\n

Camille Dejardin<\/strong> est docteur en science politique de l’Universit\u00e9 Paris II Panth\u00e9on-Assas et professeur agr\u00e9g\u00e9e de philosophie, enseignant en lyc\u00e9e depuis 2014.
