On January 24, 2025, the Liberal Institute will award the Röpke Prize for Civil Society 2025 to Argentinian President Javier Milei for his international pioneering role in the fight against the sprawling state.

There is probably no other politician in the world at present who is driving forward liberal reforms with such consistency and courage. Javier Milei has a deep understanding of liberal principles and a sound knowledge of the Austrian School of Economics. We are therefore very much looking forward to hearing first-hand from Javier Milei how he approaches this and what experiences he has had along the way.

After the Röpke Prize ceremony and Javier Milei’s speech (which he will give in Spanish and which will be simultaneously translated into German), all participants will be offered an aperitif riche with Argentinian food and drinks, which is included in the ticket price.

The demand for this event is enormous and places are likely to be snapped up within a short space of time. The rule is “first come, first served”. Secure your ticket here.

The event on January 24, 2025 will take place in Kloten. The doors are expected to open at 15:00, with the content part starting at 16:25. The times may vary slightly. We will inform all ticket holders of the exact start time by e-mail. Please arrive on time and allow sufficient time for the admission procedure and the necessary security checks.

The ticket to the event is personal and only transferable with the consent of the organizer. The ticket contains the name of the ticket holder. A security check is carried out at the entrance. A valid ID or passport must be presented, whereby the details on the ID must match the personal details on the ticket.

This is important so that the ticket can be transferred to another guest if necessary. There is a waiting list. If a transfer to another guest is possible, the ticket price can be refunded.
