Library of Liberty

The multilingual Library of Liberty of the Liberal Institute, located at 31 Marktgasse in the inner city of Bern, offers a strongly focused yet comprehensive overview of the best general and scientific works linked to the philosophy and political economy of liberty, as well as to public policy analysis from a liberal point of view. In the context of the Institute's promotion of young talents, the Library is especially geared toward students and researchers. In addition, it enables access to every person with an interest in the intellectual tradition of liberty.

Use: The Library of Liberty is used on site. The regular visiting hours are Tuesdays through Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. An advance notice at is appreciated. Work spaces and free internet access are at the disposal of visitors. For longer-term research projects, access at any time and the use of further infrastructure can be requested.
